Engineered for durability, built to last – Strongbridge’s comprehensive range of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) full-port ball valves are designed for extreme durability – made using HDPE PE4710 / PE100 virgin resin from our certified ISO-9001 manufacturing facility.
Strongbridge offers the largest size range of industrial grade, heavy-duty HDPE full-port ball valves in SDR 11 sizes and SDR 9 sizes with quarter-turn operating nut.
All Strongbridge ball valves, also known as poly full-port ball valves, are designed to keep a positive seal under any condition with dual “O” rings for redundant sealing that protects from groundwater and dirt and is supported by all leading valve box manufacturers.
A poly ball valve is a fitting used to control the flow of liquids through pipes.
Open Position: When the valve is open, the handle aligns the hole in the ball with the pipe, allowing fluid to flow freely, similar to turning on a faucet at full blast.
Closed Position: Turning the handle perpendicular to the pipe rotates the ball, blocking the hole's alignment with the pipe. This stops the fluid flow, similar to turning off a faucet.
Partial Flow Control: By adjusting the handle's position, you can partially align the hole with the pipe, regulating the fluid flow. It's akin to adjusting a faucet to control the water stream's intensity.
