Core & Main: Expansion Project of Froedtert Hospital Group in Wauwatosa, WI
Core & Main shared some great photos from their installation work at the Expansion Project of Froedtert Hospital Group in Wauwatosa, WI. The project focused on a tie-in point to be installed on a 28” chilled water line. A temporary bypass will be constructed to ensure continuous operation during the work. This line is crucial as it provides air conditioning for the entire facility. The connection will involve two Strongbridge 28” IPS x 20” IPS Large Diameter Branch Saddles, angled 45 degrees downward from the main line. These saddles will be fused using a Strongbridge 240V electrofusion processor, and our SBI saddle tools will be employed to ensure precise alignment. Core & Main will then fuse a fabricated 45° elbow to these fittings, which will tie into the trunk line.
