A tie-in point is installed on a 28” chilled water line as part of the Expansion Project of Froedtert Hospital Group in Wauwatosa, WI. A temporary bypass will be constructed to ensure continuous operation during the work. This line is crucial as it provides air conditioning for the entire facility. The connection will involve two Strongbridge 28” IPS x 20” IPS Large Diameter Branch Saddles, angled 45° downward from the main line. These saddles will be fused using a Strongbridge 240V electrofusion processor, and our SBI spider tools will be employed to ensure precise alignment. C&M will then fuse a fabricated 45-degree elbow to these fittings, which will tie into the trunk line.
